The Need The pressures of academic life, compounded by economic instability, have led to alarming levels of stress and burnout among college students. Many struggle to manage these emotions, which impacts both their academic performance and their overall well-being.
Our Action The Mounzer Foundation is committed to equipping the next generation with the tools they need to thrive. We launched an educational program specifically designed to teach college students effective stress management, mindfulness, and emotional balance. Through compassionate presence and equanimity, we help students navigate their emotions in a more productive way.
The Impact Our 2023 pilot program yielded remarkable results, with 90% of participating students reporting a significant improvement in their burnout scores, moving from severe and moderate levels to moderate and low.
