About us
The Mounzer Foundation for Service and Education is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to the well-being of the individual, flourishing societies, and advancing World Peace through Education and Service.
Founded as a family foundation, we have been active in the USA since 1999 and in Lebanon since 2005.
Our Mission
The Mission of the Mounzer Foundation is to encourage a positive exchange of cultures at all levels, protect Human Rights, spread education, and to promote World Peace through Personal Growth, Compassionate Presence, and Inner Healing.

Our Core Pillars
Education & Growth
We provide scholarships for high-school and college students, publish educational books, and lead workshops on peace-building, conflict resolution, and mindfulness.
Humanitarian Relief
Through our Lebanon Relief Fund, we provide essential food boxes, medical equipment, and support to orphanages. Our 'Adopt a Child' program helps families prioritize education.
In partnership with Rotary International, we promote peace-building and advocate for human rights, including women's rights and free legal aid for those affected by tragedy.
Peace & Human Rights
Key Initiatives
Legal Aid Initiative:
Led by Dr. Marie Ghantous, this initiative provides pro-bono legal aid to victims of the Aug 4, 2020, blast. We partner with the Human Rights Legal Clinic at University La Sagesse to support justice and recovery.
NewGen Peacebuilders
We bring international peace-building programs to students in Lebanon, training them in conflict resolution and project management. Over 90 students have successfully participated since 2021.
Mindfulness & Stress Management:
Dr. Assaad Mounzer, a certified Mindfulness teacher, facilitates workshops to help individuals find inner peace. Our 2023 college student pilot program showed a 90% reduction in burnout scores.

The Mounzer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We operate with minimal administrative fees; all members are volunteers, and 100% of your tax-deductible donations go directly to our recipients.
